Forest Trip 2

Another fantastic trip to our wild place, this time focusing on our senses.

We found our wild places once again and were able to settle down much quicker to listen and watch what was going on around us.

Our first activity was to be guided to a tree and then use our sense of touch to feel the tree, all the time with our eyes closed. We were then guided away from the tree and had to try and guess what tree we had touched. This was quite difficult for some who kept their eyes closed ALL the time and had to go back to trees and touch them again to see what they remembered feeling.

We had to use our sight to find something in the forest that we thought would be nice in a picture frame. We managed to find a selection of interesting things with different textures, colours and even wildlife!

Our task was then to take the frame and find things from the forest to create a picture of our own. It was interesting to see the different materials that people found to include in their picture or the variety of leaves that were included.

Check in next time to discover what adventures we will be on during our third trip to the forest!
